Paul spent the first years of his career working at the Kilmore and Wallan vet practices, where he built a broad range of medical and surgical skills. After developing a passion for surgery he moved to the UK where he spent 2 years undertaking specialised training in advanced surgical and medical techniques in one of Scotland's top vet hospitals.
After returning in mid 2009 Paul took the opportunity to purchase the Kilmore and Wallan practices following the retirement of the previous owner.
Using the most modern techniques and equipment Paul strives to provide Mitchellshire pet owners access to top treatments, without the need for referral to specialist centres. He holds extra qualifications in surgery having gained his Memberships from the Australian College of Veterinary Science, giving him the recognition of being highly skilled in all aspects of surgery.
Paul is the owner of a very cheeky cat called Roy who was hand raised from 1 week old, and a food obsessed cat named Hamish, both were strays handed into the vet clinic.
Paul's tip for pet owners:
"Prevention is key, don't wait for something to go wrong, regular checks will ensure optimal long term health for your pet"
